When I went on an exciting journey home, my wisdom teeth decided to join the adventure. At the most inopportune moment, one of them decided that this was the perfect time for his triumphant exit and, of course, did it... with a crown!
So what if it happened at the most interesting crossroads, where stars like Galkin and Pugacheva smile on all billboards of Cyprus and my homeland, where pawnshops are found at every step? And, oh, a curious thing, of course, I left my tooth in the closet before I left, after visiting the dentist, thinking that he would feel at home there.
But who knew that this little tooth would turn out to be the main character of a horror movie? After all, the role of the tooth fairy was played by a sneaky lodger.
My new tenant, who moved into the apartment after I left, found something in the closet that I think I accidentally left – a crown with wisdom!
Very quickly, he became convinced that it should be "my tooth", that is, his. A brave young man who took the tooth under his wing went to a pawnshop, determined to exchange it for something valuable, of course for money. But the pawnshop manager was adamant. She demanded proof from him that it was his tooth. And here he is, all confused, trying to smile, showing his mouth, as if at a contest of the strangest finds.
Her husband turned out to be a dentist, and confirmed via video link that his missing tooth did not match the one shown.
And then the real difficulties began: the manager, the chief, the police... They were all trying to figure out where this man got the tooth, which, as it turned out, was not his. But my tooth was an insistent proof that everything was fine. Honestly, I'd better pack my teeth next time!
But thank goodness I have a great dentist! He confirmed that the tooth was really mine and even said: "This tooth belongs to the one who allowed her tooth to smile for the last time, thinking about adventures on the road!"
In general, the question "Where is the Tooth, Zin?", a quote from the Soviet blockbuster "Diamond Hand", remained unresolved for my tenant. The good news is that he did not find out which category the tooth belongs to, otherwise I'm afraid he could have gone for the removal of his own.
And that's how things turn out when wise teeth begin to have their own opinion about travel and adventures!
