Check if your smartphone is on the list. If so, maybe it's time to replace it.
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. Developers are constantly improving it and adding new features that expand the messenger's capabilities. The application supports many smartphones based on Android, iOS and some other operating systems. However, bad times have come for a number of devices: WhatsApp will no longer work on them, reports Gizchina.com

WhatsApp will stop updates on 45 mobile devices with outdated versions of Google and Apple operating systems. Among them are models from Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Sony, LG and Apple. We recommend checking the list below to find out if you should change your mobile device to continue using the messenger safely.
Interestingly, some of the listed devices are quite old, but they are still being used due to decent hardware or the inability to update. WhatsApp recommends using the app only on devices running Android 5.0 or later, or on an iPhone running iOS 12 or later.
