An insider has revealed details about the new Apple Watch Series 10

The insider revealed details about the new Apple Watch Series 10, which is due to be released in September along with the iPhone 16. The new generation of smartwatches will include the Apple Watch Series 10 (in two sizes) and the protected Apple Watch Ultra 3. According to insider Ming-Chi Kuo, the basic Series 10 will have a thinner case and an enlarged display.

The analyst predicts that the Apple Watch Series 10 will come in two sizes: 45 and 49 mm, while the current Series 9 is available in sizes 41 and 45 mm. Thus, the new generation of watches will offer the largest screens in the history of this device.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to have a slimmer case and even narrower bezels around the screen. Although the exact dimensions are not given, it is assumed that the reduction in thickness will be possible through the use of a new industrial 3D printer for printing watch components. In addition, the decrease in thickness is associated with the introduction of a magnetic mount in the 10th version of the smartwatch.

Also, according to tradition, Apple will upgrade the processor in the Apple Watch Series 10 to the Apple Silicon S10, which probably will not be significantly more powerful than the S9 in the Series 9. According to previous rumors, the new smartwatch will receive a sleep apnea detection function.

The price of the Apple Watch Series 10 is still unknown. For reference, the current Apple Watch Series 9 costs $399 and $429. Perhaps the cost of the new models will be higher due to the increased dimensions.
